In the sixth newsletter, we present the results of a simulation study investigating the effects of mobility on the abundance and survival of Mongolian gazelles. This work shows that the ability to move freely within the steppe is key to the long-term survival of Mongolian gazelles.

In this eighth newsletter, we introduce the thematic group “Regional Economics and Policy Analysis" from our social science team. Their research explores how herders' collective decisions about mobility and pasture use patterns influence their attitudes toward new land use and management policies, and ultimately the implementation of these policies.
